This show was produced by Hanna-Barbera and was modeled after "The Honeymooners." The story of the Flintstones is set in Bedrock, a prehistoric city. Fred and Wilma are best frineds with Barney and Betty, and they drive vehicles with stone wheels and fringe on top. As pets, they have a dinosaur and saber tooth tiger. Viewers have long adored the Flintstones, and so after the cancellation of the show, it was picked up in syndication by NBC in 1967.
