The Rocky Horror Picture Show was originally released in 1975. The British musical comedy quickly became a cult classic and is known as a midnight movie. Theaters have shown the film at midnight showings for 34 years now and it has become a participatory film.

The movie stars Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon. It follows a conservative engaged couple named Brad and Janet whose car breaks down. They walk in a thunderstorm to a castle to use a phone. This cult film has lead to a lot of popular Halloween Rocky Horror Picture Show costumes. The main one being Dr. Frank N. Furter himself. This is called his Sweet T outfit. It comes complete with his laced-up vest, briefs and garters, elbow-length gloves, and fishnet stockings. Cut a couple of holes in the fishnets for a more authentic look. Your makeup should be done very pale except for your eyes. Very dark eyeliner and mascara should be done on your eyes and you should draw on very thin and defined eyebrows. Her costume comes with a short black maids dress with a white apron and a white lacy hat. To complete her ensemble, you need to purchase her long-handled feather duster, fishnet stockings and red frizzy curly wig ($15). She then wears black boots with a stiletto heel.
